Inspired by the work of Andrey Kasay
Cinema 4D animation with an animation inside of the cube made in p5JS.
I used Cinema 4D to create an abstracted world of opacity, new identities, and other posthuman possibilities. This is part of a world-making project that speculates futures in nonliteral ways.
The surreal is an antidote to the very real that gets in the way of imagining other, perhaps better, emancipatory forms of life under different regimes.
So delighted to be part of ITP's Zine made organized by Isa Vento.
A mother and child looking onto the world as if to ask "what is happening, where are we, are we dead or alive?". Digital illustration. Inspired by a poster i saw in Slovenia last summer. I still need to find the artist name. Also inspired by Polish Poster design and Roman Klonek's illustations.
As a graduate assistant this Fall 2018, I was delighted to work with Anne-Laure Fayard, a professor at NYU who specializes in design thinking, on a service design project for Green City Force, an organization that has successfully set up a model that trains youth from the projects to pursue careers in the green economy. Happy to help an organization that supports future change-makers.
